About the Property

The Site

Sola LaGrange is a 195-acre mixed-use development site due south of LaGrange, Georgia at the intersection of Whitesville Road and I-85. An hour’s drive from Atlanta, Sola is poised to continue the growth spurt of the city and West Georgia as a whole by providing living, dining, shopping, and entertainment options around LaGrange’s burgeoning perimeter.

Beginning the assemblage in 2011, Selig’s vision was kickstarted by the delivery of Great Wolf Lodge, a family-oriented resort that now successfully operates in Sola’s northern parcel. With infrastructure coming in place, Selig Enterprises is actively working with prospects to inject 800 residential units across apartment complexes, townhome developments, and single family homes to compliment its goal of more than 200,000 square feet of retail. Retail prospects include everything from neighborhood amenities to fine dining concepts. For visitors to the area, Sola plans to provide an additional 500 hotel rooms to bolster its destination status.

Southeast of I-85, 311 wooded acres are slated for industrial use. Easy access to the interstate and local thoroughfares make use of LaGrange’s central location, providing a hub to larger regional markets across Alabama and Georgia such as Atlanta, Columbus, Montgomery, and Birmingham. In total, this portion of the site will deliver about 2.7 million square feet of industrial space to the LaGrange market.

The City

LaGrange is a quickly expanding city 60 miles southwest of Atlanta and boasts a population of more than 30,000 residents. As a growing tourism location, the city plays host to roughly 3.5 million visitors annually, who come to enjoy nearby attractions such as Callaway Gardens, West Point Lake, and Franklin D. Roosevelt’s vacation home, Warm Springs. The city is home to more Fortune 500 regional sites per capita than anywhere else in the United States, including sites for Walmart, Duracell, UPS, Caterpillar, Illinois Tool Works, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and Servicemaster/American Home Shield. Remington Firearms Global Headquarters is also located in the city.
