Construction is underway on the Woodall Rail Trail, which will become the first segment of a longer route linking the Atlanta BeltLine to the Silver Comet Trail.

The 3.2-mile path will stretch from a future entryway for the BeltLine’s Northwest Trail at Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard and Elaine Avenue to The Works, a mixed-use development on Chattahoochee Avenue. It will wind along the banks of Woodall Creek and through abandoned railroad spurs from the area’s time as an industrial hub.

Selig Enterprises installed a traffic signal and crosswalk at Southland Circle to enable safe passage across Chattahoochee Avenue. The real estate firm is working with the CID and PATH to weave the next section of the connector through its properties.
