Atlanta Business Chronicle – Online home goods behemoth Wayfair Inc. has selected Atlanta for its second-ever physical retail store, where it will bring its vast catalog to life, the company said in an announcement Friday.
Boston-based Wayfair plans to open a 150,000-square-foot store along Howell Mill Road in the Upper Westside area.
Fraser Gough and Benton Green of Retail Planning Corp. represented the landlord in the Wayfair lease. The Howell Mill property is owned by JLL Income Property Trust, a division of LaSalle Investment Management, and Atlanta-based Selig Enterprises, according to the announcement.
