Google has had workers in Atlanta for 18 years, currently housing more than 200 employees in an understated office on 10th street in Midtown. But now, the tech giant plans to anchor a swanky new mixed-use project rising on West Peachtree Street.
On Monday, Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) confirmed its Atlanta expansion plans, with the new offices expected to open in 2022. Google will initially take five floors, or about 135,000 square feet, at 1105 West Peachtree. The project is from Selig Enterprises and will also include a hotel and condos.
