Ms. Chitty most recently served as founding Executive Director and President of the UGA Real Estate Foundation, Inc. The non-profit was created to acquire, develop and finance real estate projects for the University of Georgia. During her five-year tenure she acquired, developed, and financed more than $200 million in real estate assets.

Previously, Ms. Chitty was Senior Vice President of iStar Financial [NYSE:SFI] the successor company of the 1999 merger of TriNet Corporate Realty Trust and Starwood Financial Inc. She was responsible for the leasing, dispositions, and acquisition underwriting of the company’s 30 million sf equity portfolio valued at approximately $2 billion. Jo Ann Chitty received her undergraduate and MBA degrees from Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Florida.
